What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: This class is approximately 2 hours long.
  • What’s included: All instruction, equipment and ingredients needed.
  • Who will be present: You will have a teacher with you at all times; also, other guests may be joining (from 8 to 26 people). 
  • Spectators: Everyone must have a ticket/reservations.
  • Photo/ video: Photography is allowed and encouraged.

  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
  • Parking: You can park at the experience location.
  • What to wear: We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. Please dress in clothing you won't mind getting dirty.
  • What to bring: This class is BYOB for participants over 21 years old (limit of 1 bottle per pair).
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There are restrooms at the experience location.

What should I expect on the day of the class?
Arrive a few minutes early to check in with the chef instructor using the ticket holder’s name. No need to bring a printed confirmation. The class will typically start with an introduction and a brief overview of the recipes you'll be preparing. Ingredients and cooking stations will be provided, and the chef will guide you through each step. After cooking, you'll enjoy the delicious meal you've created.

Why do classes work together in groups?
Cooking classes are designed to be a social and interactive experience. Working in groups encourages collaboration, allows for sharing of tips and techniques, and enhances the fun of the learning process. It's also a great way to meet new people who share your interests.

Most people can learn the basics, such as preparing rice and rolling maki, in a single class.

The most challenging part is often perfecting the balance of flavors and achieving a tight roll, but practice makes perfect!

With the right tools and techniques, homemade sushi is accessible and rewarding to create.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 14 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly.
