This popular two-day excursion offers the perfect blend of relaxation and excitement, whether you're into kayak fishing or just enjoying a leisurely paddle.

Spend your days floating down a total of 14 miles of tranquil river, with 8 miles covered on the first day and 6 miles on the second. As evening falls, set up camp near Scout Island for a night under the stars, embracing the simplicity of primitive camping with no amenities. With approximately 8 hours of total paddling time, this trip is ideal for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the great outdoors.

Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: All age groups are welcome.
  • Physical limitations: Participants should be capable of paddling for extended periods and camping in primitive conditions.
  • Experience level: All levels are welcome; however, basic kayaking experience is recommended due to the length of the trip.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: All participants, including children, must pay to participate.
  • Pets: Sorry, pets are not allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2 days; approximately 8 hours of total float time over 14 miles (Day 1 = 8 miles, Day 2 = 6 miles).
  • What’s included: Canoe or kayak, shuttle service to the starting point, and transportation of camping gear.
  • Who will be present: The experience is self-guided; shuttle service will be provided by the organizers.
  • Photo/ video: Personal photos are encouraged; participants can bring their own cameras or phones.
  • Specific rules to follow: Follow any safety guidelines provided during check-in. Be prepared for primitive camping conditions.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: The experience will run regardless of weather conditions.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive at least 15-20 minutes early for check-in. Late arrivals may need to choose an alternate route.
    • The check-in process includes loading personal gear onto the shuttle. Ensure that all personal and camping gear is packed and ready upon arrival.
  • Parking: Parking is available at the check-in location.
  • What to wear: Dress appropriately for outdoor activities and overnight camping. Bring weather-appropriate clothing and good walking shoes.
  • What to bring: Personal camping gear, food, and water for two days, fishing gear if desired, sunscreen, and any personal items needed for overnight camping. No amenities are provided at the campsite.
  • Restrooms: Restrooms are available at the park entrance before the shuttle ride. There are no restrooms at the camping site.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
