Full description

Launch from Fisherman's Park and enjoy a leisurely 2-3 hour paddle down the serene Colorado River. Along the way, you'll have plenty of opportunities to stop, swim, picnic, or simply relax in nature. The journey concludes at the Colorado River Refuge, where a shuttle will conveniently bring you back to your starting point.

This experience includes everything you need: a watercraft, life jacket, paddles, and even a dry box for your phone. Whether you're seeking a peaceful escape or a fun day on the water, this trail offers a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.

Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: Minimum age is 5 years old. Children under 10 must be in a boat with an adult.
  • Physical limitations: Participants should be capable of paddling and spending up to 3 hours on the water.
  • Experience level: All levels are welcome; this is a great introductory experience.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: All participants, including children, must pay to participate.
  • Pets: Sorry, pets are not allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2-3 hours on the water. Total time with check-in and shuttle service is approximately 4 hours.
  • What’s included: Watercraft, life jacket, paddles, shuttle service, dry box for phones (one per group).
  • Who will be present: The experience is self-guided, but shuttle service is provided.
  • Photo/ video: Personal photos are encouraged. Dry box provided for phone protection.
  • Specific rules to follow: All watercraft must be off the river by 5 PM daily.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: The experience will run regardless of weather.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance. If late, call the provided number. For afternoon reservations, no boats are allowed to depart after 2:00 PM.
    • The check-in process takes about 15 minutes. Make sure your entire party is present and has completed the online release form before arrival.
  • Parking: Parking is available at Fisherman’s Park. There are no parking fees.
  • What to wear: Dress appropriately for water recreation (jeans/khakis not recommended). Wear proper footwear that can get muddy.
  • What to bring: Sunscreen, water (at least 24 oz per person), small cooler for snacks if desired. A phone is needed to call for pickup; one dry box per group is provided.
  • Restrooms: Restrooms are available near the entrance of Fisherman’s Park. Ensure everyone has used the restroom before checking in.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
