Tour Itinerary:

  • 9:00 AM – Depart from San Diego: Begin your journey with a scenic drive from San Diego to Ensenada via the Pacific Scenic Highway.
  • 10:30 AM – Stop at "El Mirador": Take a brief break to stretch, use the restroom, and enjoy stunning views of Ensenada Bay. Snap some photos and grab some Mexican candy.
  • 11:00 AM – Visit Winery #1: Start your wine-tasting adventure with a visit to the first boutique winery, where you’ll enjoy tastings and a tour of the winemaking process.
  • 12:30 PM – Visit Winery #2: Continue your journey with tastings at the second winery, accompanied by a complimentary cheese platter for everyone.
  • 2:00 PM – Lunch at Finca Altozano: Delight in a five-course BajaMed lunch at Finca Altozano, crafted by renowned Mexican chef Javier Plascencia.
  • 3:30 PM – Visit Winery #3: Unwind at the third and final winery of the day, savoring more premium wines in a relaxing setting.
  • 5:00 PM – Return to San Diego: Relax on the ride back to the U.S. as you reflect on a day filled with exceptional wines and breathtaking views.
  • 7:30 PM – Drop off in San Diego: Arrive back at your starting point in San Diego, completing your unforgettable day in Valle de Guadalupe.

  • Children: This is not an experience for children; participants must be 18 or older.
  • Dietary restrictions: The tour includes a five-course BajaMed lunch.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 11 Hours. The tour may go slightly longer based on participant engagement throughout the experience.
  • What’s included: The experience includes transportation, wine tastings at three boutique wineries, a tour of the winemaking process, and a five-course lunch at Finca Altozano. Complimentary bottles of drinking water will be provided for each passenger.
  • Who will be present: A guide will be present throughout the experience. This tour accommodates up to 14 passengers.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed; everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.
  • Specific rules to follow: Valid passport is required. Each passenger is required to sign a waiver of release of liability before boarding the transport.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: The experience will run rain or shine.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive a few minutes before the scheduled pick-up time of 9:00 AM.
  • Parking: Transportation is included.
  • What to wear: Comfortable clothing and good walking shoes are recommended.
  • What to bring:
    • You may bring your own drinks, but no large ice coolers, please.
    • Valid passport is essential.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No changing rooms, but there will be bathroom breaks during the tour.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

  • Each passenger is responsible for bringing the necessary immigration and travel documentation to enter Mexico and return to the United States.
  • An itinerary of the tour will be provided four days prior to the day of the tour, detailing the places to be visited and the meeting location for the driver.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
