Full description

Set off on a journey through the narrows of the canyon floor, a path carved by time and nature, home to coyotes, bobcats, and other wildlife. Be on the lookout for wild burros as the trail leads across the mesa. As the day turns to evening, the ride offers breathtaking views of Red Rock Canyon and the Spring Mountains, with the distant lights of Las Vegas starting to twinkle.

After the ride, the evening continues back at camp with a hearty Western barbecue under the stars. Savor a delicious steak (choice of chicken, 16oz ribeye Steak, salmon, or vegetarian), perfectly grilled, accompanied by classic sides like salad, baked potatoes, beans, and corn on the cob. The meal rounds off with a marshmallow roast and s'mores by the campfire, complemented by stories and perhaps a song or two, creating a warm, convivial atmosphere. This experience is a blend of outdoor adventure and rustic charm, perfect for those looking to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty.

Any restrictions to participate?

Age: 7+
Health limitations: This experience is not recommended for pregnant women.
Physical limitations: Need to be able to get on and off the horse with minimal assistance.
Experience level: All levels are welcome.

Who can you accommodate for?

Children: Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Helmets are required for children ages 7 through 16, and are provided by the tour provider.
Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 2 hours

- Expert wrangler guide and instruction
- Red Rock Canyon tour
- Western BBQ including your choice of chicken, steak, salmon, or vegetarian. Accompanied with all the fixin's - green salad, Dutch Oven potatoes, baked beans, corn on the cob, and beverages.
- Roundtrip shuttle included, or opt to drive to the camp.
Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times as well as up to 40 total participants.
Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged!
Specific rules to follow: Your guide will go over all the rules prior to the ride.

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: This experience will take place in most weather, with the exception of heavy rain or lightning.
Arrival: The tour provider offers round trip transportation from your hotel in Vegas, however if you plan on driving please arrive 15 minutes in advance.
Parking: If you choose to drive to the meeting location there is parking available onsite.
What to wear: Please wear long pants and comfortable, loose-fitting clothes, closed-toe shoes are required, and in the winter, layered clothing (sweater or sweatshirt, jacket, and gloves). Hats (other than ball caps) should have chin strings.
What to bring:
- A water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat
- Gratuity for your guide is not included and appreciated if you enjoy the experience
Restrooms: Restrooms are available at the meeting location.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
