Tour Itinerary:

9:30 AM – Pick up from Old Town, San Diego: Begin your day with a convenient pick-up from Old Town, San Diego, and head south to Tijuana, BC, without needing to exit the vehicle.
10:00 AM – Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT) and Botanical Gardens: Visit the Tijuana Cultural Center, where you'll explore the museum and stroll through the beautiful botanical gardens, immersing yourself in the cultural richness of the region.
11:30 AM – Rosarito Beach Hotel and Papas & Beer Club: Head to Rosarito to visit the iconic Rosarito Beach Hotel and the legendary Papas & Beer Club, where you can enjoy craft beer tastings and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.
1:00 PM – Lobster Lunch in Puerto Nuevo: Indulge in a delicious Baja-style lobster lunch in Puerto Nuevo, complete with tequila margaritas and live mariachi music, creating an unforgettable dining experience.
2:30 PM – Shopping at the Mexican Curios Market: After lunch, enjoy free time to shop for Mexican arts and crafts at the local curios market, finding unique souvenirs to take home.
3:30 PM – Return to San Diego: Relax and enjoy the scenic drive back to San Diego, filled with memories of a day packed with culture, cuisine, and coastal charm.

Dietary restrictions: The tour includes Baja-style lobster, beans, rice, flour tortillas, and margaritas.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 7 Hours. The tour may go slightly longer based on participant engagement throughout the experience.
What’s included: The experience includes transportation, entrance to the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT) and Botanical Gardens, a visit to Rosarito Beach Hotel and Papas & Beer Club, craft beer tastings, and a lobster lunch with margaritas and mariachi music. Complimentary bottles of drinking water will be provided for each passenger.
Who will be present: A guide will be present throughout the experience. This tour accommodates 4-14 passengers.
Spectators: No spectators are allowed; everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.
Specific rules to follow: Valid passport is required. Each passenger is required to sign a waiver of release of liability before boarding the transport.

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: The experience will run rain or shine.
Arrival: Plan to arrive a few minutes before the scheduled pick-up time of 9:30 AM.
Parking: Transportation is included.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing and good walking shoes are recommended.
What to bring:
- You may bring your own drinks, but no large ice coolers, please.
- Valid passport is essential.
Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No changing rooms, but there will be bathroom breaks during the tour.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

Each passenger is responsible for bringing the necessary immigration and travel documentation to enter Mexico and return to the United States.
An itinerary of the tour will be provided four days prior to the day of the tour, detailing the places to be visited and the meeting location for the driver.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
