Essentials like a cooler for your drinks, water bottles, life jackets for safety, and dry storage for personal items are provided. Participants are reminded to bring their own towels and snacks, as these are not included. This sailing trip offers a blend of leisure and learning, set against the picturesque backdrop of Lake Fairview, away from the usual crowd and noise.

  • Age: Ages 5+ are welcome.
  • Experience level: All levels are welcome, including beginners interested in learning some fundamentals of sailing or those just looking to enjoy a relaxing day on the water.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included.
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2 Hours.
  • What’s included: Experience with an experienced captain and sailing instructor, cooler (guests may bring additional beverages and snacks, alcohol permitted), water bottles, life jackets for all sizes, and dry storage.
  • Who will be present: You will have a guide/teacher with you at all times; this is a private experience for up to 4 people.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos; photos are encouraged!

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: In the event of unfavorable weather or unforeseen circumstances, customers may cancel and receive a full refund or credit with 4 hours notice of cancellation. To ensure the safety of all passengers, trips do not operate in lake wind advisories.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 10 minutes in advance.
  • What to wear: Wear comfortable weather-appropriate clothing.
  • What to bring:
    • Sunscreen, hat, and/or sunglasses if preferred.
    • Personal cooler with food and beverages permitted (alcohol permitted).
    • Personal belongings: Dry storage provided.
    • Towels and snacks are not included; please plan accordingly.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Not specified; inquire for facility availability.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
