In this engaging and hands-on class, participants are expertly guided step-by-step by a Thai Chef Instructor to recreate the classic dish with authentic flavors and techniques. The curriculum covers fundamental knife skills, the proper preparation of traditional noodles, and the creation of an authentic Pad Thai sauce from scratch. Protein options such as chicken and tofu are available, and attendees will also learn the art of plating, garnishing, and savoring their beautifully crafted dish. Valuable insights are shared on sourcing fresh, seasonal ingredients and specialty items, empowering participants to replicate the perfect Pad Thai in their own kitchens.

No previous cooking experience is required, as the class provides all the necessary equipment and ingredients, easily accessible at local markets or already present in participants' home kitchens. The events maintain a casual atmosphere, ensuring a blend of fun and instructive moments. Whether for cooking enthusiasts eager to actively participate in every step or for first-timers who prefer observing, assisting, or indulging in taste tests, the class is designed to accommodate a diverse range of participants without being overly rigorous.

  • Dietary restrictions: Can adapt to dairy-free, gluten free, shellfish-free and vegetarian friendly diets.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: This class is approximately 2 hours long.
  • What’s included: All instruction, equipment and ingredients needed.
  • Who will be present: You will have a teacher with you at all times; also, other guests may be joining (from 12 to 26 people). This class has a minimum requirement of 2 people per booking. 
  • Spectators: Everyone must have a ticket/reservations.
  • Photo/ video: Photography is allowed and encouraged.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
  • Parking: You can reach the destination by car share, public transportation or drive and find public or private parking in the area.
  • What to wear: We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. Please dress in clothing you won't mind getting dirty.
  • What to bring: Outside drinks are not allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There are restrooms at the experience location.

What should I expect on the day of the class?

Arrive a few minutes early to check in with the chef instructor using the ticket holder’s name. No need to bring a printed confirmation. The class will typically start with an introduction and a brief overview of the recipes you'll be preparing. Ingredients and cooking stations will be provided, and the chef will guide you through each step. After cooking, you'll enjoy the delicious meal you've created.

Why do classes work together in groups?

Cooking classes are designed to be a social and interactive experience. Working in groups encourages collaboration, allows for sharing of tips and techniques, and enhances the fun of the learning process. It's also a great way to meet new people who share your interests.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before the class for groups of less than 6 people and 14 days for groups of 6 people or more. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly.
