This 2.5-hour morning excursion takes you from the golden sands of Ka’anapali straight to one of West Maui’s top snorkeling spots. With top-of-the-line snorkel gear provided and a full open bar on board, the trip is equal parts fun and convenience. The expert crew ensures a seamless experience, from fitting your gear to guiding you to the best spots. Light snacks and reef-safe sunscreen are included, so all you need to bring is your towel and a sense of adventure.   • Age: All age groups are welcome.
  • Physical limitations: This is a beach-loading catamaran, so it is not suitable for individuals with mobility issues.
  • Experience level: All levels are welcome.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: Infants can join for free (a ticket is required), and all participants, including children, must have a ticket.
  • Individuals with disabilities: This tour is not wheelchair accessible or suitable for those with mobility issues.
  • Pets: No pets allowed, except service animals.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 2.5 hours
  • What’s included:
    • Snorkel gear, including masks and fins, is provided. Masks for prescription glasses are not available, but rentals can be arranged at TheSnorkelStore.com.
    • Light snacks.
    • Full open bar for guests 21+ (with proper ID).
    • Reef-safe sunscreen.
  • Who will be present: A captain and crew will be onboard to guide the experience and assist with snorkeling gear. Certified lifeguards and CPR-trained staff will ensure safety.
  • Photo/ video: Guests are encouraged to take their own photos to capture the experience.
  • Specific rules to follow: Smoking is not allowed. Full-face mask snorkel sets are not permitted due to safety concerns.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: The tour operates rain or shine but may be subject to weather conditions.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 30 minutes before departure. Check-in is at the Sea Maui kiosk located along the beachwalk at Whalers Village between Leilani’s Restaurant and Hula Grill.
  • What to bring:
    • A towel, sunscreen (non-spray preferred), and any essentials for comfort.
    • Cash or a credit card for optional purchases, such as photos or gratuity.
  • What to wear: Comfortable clothing, such as a shirt, light jacket, and shorts. Hats with chin straps are recommended. Shoes should be easy to remove, as the tour is barefoot.
  • What’s not allowed: Spray sunscreen, large bags, or luggage.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
