Ride the swells and ride high on the California spirit as you conquer Malibu's legendary beaches. Of course, the fun doesn't end there – embrace your inner beach bum as you strike a pose against the backdrop of those iconic Malibu landscapes. And don't forget to say cheese with our vintage VW campervan, the ultimate prop for an Instagram-worthy photoshoot.

Now, even if surfing isn't your cup of tea, fear not! You'll still find your slice of paradise by exploring the beach, its tranquil vistas, and the delightful variety of wildlife that calls this place home. After an invigorating few hours on the waves, recharge with a lunch whipped up in our trusty VW campervan. As you sip a warm beverage and soak in the scene, keep your eyes peeled for friendly sea lions, playful dolphins, and a colorful cast of coastal birds – because in Malibu, nature joins the party too.

  • Age: Must be 7 years old or older (You can participate even if you don't plan to surf)

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included
  • Pets: This experience is not pet friendly

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 6 hour tour
  • What’s included:
    • Pickup in Venice or Santa Monica area and transportation in a vintage VW Camper Van
    • Surfboard and wetsuit
    • Boogie board
    • Lunch of meat or vegetarian hot dogs
    • Snacks
    • Water, refreshments, tea, coffee, or hot chocolate
  • Who will be present: You will have a guide and a group of 2 to 7 people with you
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance
  • Parking: Parking available in the are
  • What to wear: Swimwear & comfortable shoes
  • What to bring:
    • Water bottle
    • Sunscreen
    • Towel
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Bathrooms available in the area

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
