Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

Age: Participants must be at least 16 years old, and a parental consent form must be signed for students under 18 years old.
Weight: Participant cannot exceed 200 lbs.
Health limitations: We kindly request that pregnant women, who are 36 weeks or further along in their pregnancy, refrain from flying for their own comfort and safety.
Experience level: No experience necessary.

Individuals with disabilities: Not wheelchair accessible.
Pets: No pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 20 or 30 minutes depending on the option selected.
What’s included: Flight Lesson in a Robinson R22 helicopter with instructions from your FAA certified flight instructor.
Who will be present: You will learn from a FAA Certified Flight Instructor.
Spectators: Spectators are welcome to observe take-off and landing.
Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: This experience is weather dependent, if it is canceled due to inclement weather (heavy rain, low cloud ceilings, lightning, or extreme winds), you will be offered a different date.
Arrival: Passengers must arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled departure.
Parking: Free parking available onsite.
What to wear: Wear comfortable clothing. Flat rubber-soled shoes are recommended.
What to bring:
- Please bring a valid, photo ID as it is required by all students and passengers.
Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There will be restrooms available.

The two-seat R22 Beta II helicopter is a proven workhorse that has delivered exceptional performance in a variety of applications for over thirty years. The R22 has a two-bladed rotor system, T-bar cyclic and the latest in Robinson technology including crashworthy bladder fuel tanks. A powder-coated steel tube structure provides a light yet rigid airframe while the aircraft’s aerodynamic fuselage optimizes airspeed and fuel economy. The R22 is powered by Lycoming’s proven O-360 engine that is derated to provide reserve power and better performance at high altitudes and in hot weather.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
