Full description

In this workshop, participants have the opportunity to craft a timeless steel rose that will perpetually stay in bloom, defying the passage of time. The creative process begins with the preparation of intricately engraved petals, offering the freedom to express personal designs or heartfelt messages for the intended recipient.

Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants delve into the art and science of MIG welding to skillfully attach the rose's petals to the stem. Using an open-flame torch, they shape each petal to their preference, transforming it from a partially open bud to a fully blossomed in-bloom state. This process is repeated until the creation of a complete and unique steel rose.

Every attendee will craft and take home at least one steel rose, with the option to create a second one if time permits.

Age: 18+ to participate & 21+ to drink alcohol
Experience level: This course is designed for beginners with little or no prior experience.

Who can you accommodate for?

Children: This experience is recommended for participants who are at least 18 years old, because of the use of power tools, however, minors are welcome to join as long as they have a parent or guardian there to participate and supervise throughout the workshop.
Individuals with disabilities: The workshop is not wheelchair accessible, however, service animals are allowed.
Pets: Well-behaved pets, comfortable with loud noises, are welcome.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: Approximately 4 hours
What’s included: All tools and building materials needed to make a handcrafted rose made of steel (maybe even two of them, if time permits), as well as an expert instructor to coach you through the workshop.
Who will be present: You will have an instructor with you at all times as well as up to 10 total participants.
Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a reservation.
Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged!
Specific rules to follow: Your instructor will go over all the safety rules on the day of the workshop.

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience.
Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance.
Parking: There is street parking available near the workshop.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing, that is not too baggy, and that you don’t mind getting dirty. Closed toed shoes are required.
What to bring: No need to bring anything with you! You will be provided with all the tools, safety equipment, and materials needed for an awesome experience.
Restrooms: Restrooms are available onsite.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.
