  • Age: 6+; all participants must be able to manage a kayak.
  • Health limitations: Not recommended for individuals with severe health issues that may be exacerbated by physical activity. However, no strenuous activity beyond paddling is involved.
  • Experience level: No prior kayaking experience is necessary, as guidance will be provided. The tour is suitable for beginners to advanced paddlers.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: Children must be supervised by an adult if under the age of 18.
  • Individuals with disabilities: Those with mobility issues should contact the tour provider in advance to discuss accessibility options. Kayaking may require getting in and out of the kayak and some degree of physical balance and strength.
  • Pets: Pets are not typically allowed on the tour for safety and logistical reasons.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: The tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • What’s included: The price covers kayak rental (single or tandem), life jackets, paddles, and guided tour services. Participants will have the opportunity to see local wildlife and learn about the area’s history.
  • Who will be present: A professional guide knowledgeable about local ecology and history will lead the tour. Group size may vary but will generally be small to ensure personal attention and safety.
  • Photo/video: Participants are encouraged to bring waterproof cameras or protective cases for smartphones to capture the scenic views and wildlife encounters.
  • Specific rules to follow: Alcohol and tobacco use are discouraged during the activity to ensure safety and comfort.

How to prepare?

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 72 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
