Focaccia is a delicious bread that is savory, light, airy, and crunchy, making it a perfect choice for enjoying on its own, with olive oil, or as part of a charcuterie board. It's also a fantastic option for making a sandwich with fresh mozzarella.
If you're eager to learn how to make bread from scratch, our fun and interactive class will guide you through the introductory art of bread making, starting with the Italian classic, Focaccia. You'll get your hands dirty and learn how to properly proof dough so it has enough time to rest and rise. Guests will take their own dough home to make another Focaccia and practice the steps they learned in class.
During the class, you'll work with pre-made and rested dough to make and bake bread that you can enjoy fresh at the end of class. You'll also have the opportunity to prepare your own toppings and practice your knife skills. No experience is necessary, as we provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets.
Our events are meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore, and are designed to be enjoyable for both baking enthusiasts and first-timers who are happy to observe and assist (or taste-test). Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you're part of a large group. Guests will work in groups and share equipment and ingredients. Outside drinks are not permitted, but drinks are available for purchase from the venue (not included in the ticket price). This event is 21+ only.
