You’ll learn how to confidently shuck a dozen oysters—six from the East Coast and six from the West—while exploring their unique flavor profiles, from briny and salty to sweet and creamy. Try your hand at pairing them with gourmet toppings and sip on two carefully chosen wines during a guided tasting.

Along the way, you’ll pick up practical skills like how to safely open oysters, understand what influences their taste, and even how to pair them with cocktails (you’ll get to make one, too). By the end, you’ll walk away with a deeper appreciation for oyster farming, sustainability, and the confidence to take your newfound skills to your next dinner party—or your kitchen counter.

• Weather dependency: This is an indoor experience
• Arrival: Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance
• Parking: Paid parking may be available near Pier57; public transit is encouraged
