The Diamondback Gulch Tour offers an adrenaline-packed off-road experience on one of Sedona's most extreme 4-wheel drive trails. This 2-hour adventure takes you through Arizona's rugged terrain, navigating famous rock formations like Capitol Butte, Chimney Rock, Lizard Head, and Doe Mesa. Your skilled guide will lead you along the Sidewinder Trail into the depths of Diamondback Gulch, providing heart-pounding excitement as you ascend and descend steep inclines. Along the way, you'll marvel at the stunning views of seven canyons and towering red-rock formations, with plenty of opportunities for incredible photos. The tour also includes a visit to a 700-year-old cliff dwelling, where your guide will share fascinating insights into the ancient rock art and the region's history, flora, and fauna.

Age: 3+. Participants under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 2 hours.
What’s included: Guided extreme 4-wheel drive tour through Diamondback Gulch and surrounding areas. The tour includes a visit to famous rock formations and ancient cliff dwellings, with insights into local history, flora, and fauna.
Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times; other guests may be joining.
Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.
Specific rules to follow: Follow the guide’s rules and the provided safety instructions.

How to prepare:

Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running. Be prepared for the changing high desert weather by wearing layers.
Arrival: Plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance to ensure a timely departure.
Parking: Information on parking will be provided upon booking.
What to wear: Comfortable outdoor clothing, closed-toed walking shoes, and layers for comfort.

- Camera (with straps)
- Sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat
- Water (no glass containers please)
- Contact lens wearers may want to use glasses
Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: Please use the restroom before the experience begins.

On horseback rides, it’s mandatory to wear closed-toe shoes.
For safety and comfort, we may ask for the height and weight of each guest

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
