Physical limitations: Participants must be able to walk 4.26 miles on the tour, traveling up hills and one large staircase.

Who can you accommodate for?

Children: Tours are recommended for children 10 years and older, however younger children are allowed to join. A stroller is recommended for younger children given the distance walked on the tour. Children 3 years and older are required to have a ticket, and all children should be noted at the time of booking.
Individuals with disabilities: This tour is not wheelchair accessible. Service animals are allowed.
Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

Duration: 3.5 hours
What’s included: Guided walking tour with a local historian. Snacks along the tour are not included, but are available for purchase.
Who will be present: You will have a guide with you at all times and up to 8 tour participants.
Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket.
Photo/ video: Photos are encouraged!

How to prepare?

Weather dependency: The experience will run rain or shine. If you have any concerns about the weather, please reach out to your tour guide directly.
Arrival: Plan to arrive 10 minutes in advance.
Parking: Street parking or a paid parking lot will be available near the meeting location.
Ending location: The tour is a loop and will end at the same location as the starting point.
What to wear: Good walking shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.
What to bring: A water bottle and money to purchase local bites along the tour.
Restrooms: Restrooms will be available at some of the tour stops.

Visit the Tin How Temple, the first Chinese temple in America, and soak in the rich traditions and vibrant atmosphere.

As you move beyond Chinatown, ascend Russian Hill, where you'll explore the whimsical Macondray Lane, a hidden gem adorned with lush greenery and charming architecture. Capture panoramic vistas from Russian Hill, including the renowned Lombard Street, famously known as the "Crooked Street," offering stunning Bay Area views.

The tour then leads you to the enchanting North Beach, where Italian charm and Beatnik culture blend seamlessly. Visit historic landmarks such as City Lights Bookstore and Vesuvio Cafe, iconic hangouts of the Beat Generation. Explore the colorful streets, revel in the aroma of traditional trattorias, and indulge in delectable cuisine.

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
