  • Physical limitations: This is a beach-loading catamaran, so it is not suitable for individuals with mobility issues.
  • Experience level: All levels are welcome.

  • Children: Infants can join for free (a ticket is required), and all participants, including children, must have a ticket.
  • Individuals with disabilities: This tour is not wheelchair accessible or suitable for those with mobility issues.
  • Dietary restrictions: Notify at least 24 hours in advance for food allergy or dietary needs.
  • Pets: No pets allowed, except service animals.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: Approximately 2 hours, returning shortly after sunset.
  • What’s included:
    • 2 hour sunset cruise
    • Open bar with local and domestic beer, wine, champagne, rum, vodka, and a selection of cocktails like Mai Tais and Maui Mules.
    • Non-alcoholic beverages, including soft drinks, lemonade, passion orange guava juice, and water.
    • Enjoy heavy appetizers.

     

  • Who will be present: A captain and crew will guide the experience, ensuring safety and comfort as well as up to 48 other guests.
  • Photo/ video: Guests are encouraged to take their own photos.
  • Specific rules to follow: Smoking is not allowed.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: The tour runs rain or shine but may be subject to weather conditions.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 30 minutes before departure. Check-in is at the Sea Maui kiosk located along the beachwalk at Whalers Village, between Leilani’s Restaurant and Hula Grill.
    • Guests must check in on time to avoid forfeiting their seats.
  • Parking: Allow extra time for parking as it can be busy near Whalers Village during check-in times.
  • What to wear: You are expected to wear comfortable clothes.
    • Bringing of light jackets, cardigans, and sweaters is recommended as the temperature on the open water decreases at night.
    • Wearing sandals and flip tops are suggested for easy removal as all footwear will be collected and placed in a bin during the trip.
  • What to bring:
    • Cash or a credit card for optional purchases like gratuity.
    • Bring preventative medicine or a kit if you are prone to motion sickness.
    • All alcoholic drinkers must bring a valid or government-issued photo ID.

     

  • What’s not allowed: Large bags, or luggage

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

  • The cruise includes whale watching during the winter months (December 15th to April 15th).
  • Boarding occurs directly from Ka’anapali Beach.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 24 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
