Prepare to be amazed and mystified as you delve into the enigmatic world of psychic experiments and unexplained occurrences on the Camden Ghost Tour.

Sample Itinerary:

  • Village Green: Hear about the historic Pitcher Man who just wants to share some beer and good cheer on the bridge to Rockport.
  • Camden Harbor: Watch the Waterfront for spooky schooners. On Camden’s Harbor tales from contemporary sailors include encounters with ghostly castaways aboard haunted ships.
  • Cuzzy's Restaurant: Sniff out the ghosts at this popular eatery. Strange aromas like cigar smoke or a flowery fragrances are sometimes smelled by employees. They also report more corporeal manifestations like apparitions, full body and otherwise.
  • 16 Bay View Hotel: A variety of supernatural presences, including a vanishing little boy, populate the upper reaches as well as the lower level of the posh 16 Bay View Hotel. Search the shadows to catch a glimpse of the dearly departed.
  • Sea Dog Brewing Company: Staff claims to have heard, seen, and felt spirits of the past at Sea Dog Brewing Company, which seems to be a portal to the next world as well as a restaurant and brewhouse.
  • Lord Camden Inn: Hotel guests report unexplained occurrences in Room #302, while staff members encounter a strange presence throughout the building. Harold the ghost is helpful, but sometimes startlingly curious about visitors.
  • Camden Opera House: The mischievous ghost of an actress gets the blame for pranks and the credit for unexplained, fortuitous events at the Camden Opera House.

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: Recommended for 12+. If under 18 years old, participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: While tours do not contain anything too graphic or inappropriate, we find that kids that enjoy history have the best time. You know your children best and that's left up to you. We do not recommend bringing children in strollers because sometimes that can be difficult with larger walking groups. All participants must pay to join, children included.
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed. 
  • Individuals with disabilities: The tour route is wheelchair-accessible and service animals are welcome.

 

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 1.5 hours
  • What’s included: 
    • Expert paranormal guide 
    • Fully narrated walking tour
  • Who will be present: Your expert guide and up to 30 participants.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket.
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: Rain or shine, the experience will be running.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of the tour.
  • Parking: Ample parking is available near the Public Landing, near the intersection of Union and Elm, and across from 40 Paper on Washington Street.
  • What to wear: Comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for weather conditions.
  • What to bring:
    • Camera
    • Bottle of water

     

  • Gratuity: Gratuity for your guide is greatly appreciated if you enjoy the tour. $3-$5 per person is suggested.
  • Restrooms: It is recommended to use the restroom prior to the tour.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule in the case of an emergency, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows mean losing the value of your experience.
