Join a PADI Certified Mermaid Instructor for a 1.5-hour adventure that lets you dive into the magical world of mermaids. Whether you're in the ocean, a local pool, or even your own backyard, you'll start with learning the basics of mermaid swimming and how to put on your mermaid tail. Once you're all set, swim alongside your fellow mermaids in an unforgettable ocean adventure, relax by the beach or pool, and capture the moment with incredible photos and videos. This is more than just an experience—it’s a chance to embrace your inner mermaid and make lifelong memories.

Whether you’re flying solo or bringing along a group of friends, this adventure is designed for anyone who’s ready to dive into a bit of fun and fantasy. So, grab your swimsuit, bring your sense of wonder, and get ready to live out your mermaid dreams in sunny South Florida!

Practical information

Any restrictions to participate?

  • Age: 6+ years old
  • Health limitations: Must be in good physical health.
  • Physical limitations: Must be a confident swimmer and comfortable diving underwater.
  • Experience level: No experience needed.

Who can you accommodate for?

  • Children: All participants must pay to participate, children included.
  • Languages: English-speaking instructor provided.
  • Pets: Sorry, no pets allowed.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: 1.5 hours. Experience may go slightly longer based on participant engagement.
  • What’s included:
    • PADI Certified Mermaid Instructor
    • Mermaid Tail (if needed)
    • Basic mermaid swimming instruction
  • Who will be present: You will have a PADI Certified Mermaid Instructor with you at all times. The experience can be one-on-one or with a group of friends.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed, everyone must have a ticket/reservation.
  • Photo/ video: You may take your own photos. The instructor can assist in capturing photos and videos of your experience.
  • Specific rules to follow: Follow the instructor's guidance for safety, especially in the water.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: The experience is weather-dependent, and locations may vary based on conditions.
  • Arrival: Plan to arrive 10 minutes in advance.
  • Parking: Parking can be difficult to find during peak hours, especially on weekends. Rideshare is recommended.
  • What to wear: Swimsuit (come ready to swim), sunscreen, hat, sunglasses.
  • What to bring:
    • Mask & snorkel
    • Monofin and/or mermaid tail (if you'd like to use your own)
    • Skin protection (wetsuit, rashguard, U/V blocking t-shirt)
    • Towel
    • Dry clothes
    • Water (preferably not in single-use plastic)
    • Gratuity for your instructor
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: No changing rooms available, but there will be bathroom breaks.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

  • Ensure all participants have completed the online waiver before the experience.
  • Meeting location may vary depending on weather conditions. Confirm with the instructor before arrival.

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 48 hours before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance means losing the value of your experience.
