  • Individuals with disabilities: The tour involves walking approximately 1.5 miles, which includes some urban environments that might not be fully accessible. Please contact us for specific accessibility needs.
  • Dietary restrictions: As this tour includes visits to various eateries, please inform us in advance if you have dietary restrictions so we can check with our partners about accommodating your needs.

What to expect on the day of the experience?

  • Duration: The tour lasts approximately 3 hours.
  • What’s included: Sampling food from up to 6 different restaurants, cafes, and shops in the Arts District, along with engaging stories about the neighborhood and interactions with local chefs and business owners.
  • Who will be present: You will be accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide. Group size may vary, typically up to 12 participants to keep the experience personal and enjoyable.
  • Spectators: No spectators are allowed; all attendees must have a ticket.
  • Photo/video: Participants are encouraged to take their own photos to remember and share their experience.

How to prepare?

  • Weather dependency: The tour goes on rain or shine. In case of severe weather conditions, an alternative arrangement or rescheduling might occur.
  • Arrival: Please arrive at the designated meeting spot as detailed in your booking confirmation at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start to ensure a timely start.
  • Parking: On-street parking is available, often free but be mindful of time limits. Paid parking lots are also available nearby if preferred.
  • What to wear: Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
  • What to bring:
    • A water bottle, especially important during warmer months.
    • Any personal items like sunscreen or a hat for sunny days or an umbrella for rain.
  • Restrooms/ lockers/ changing rooms: There may be limited access to restrooms, typically available in some of the establishments visited.

Anything else I should know before going on this experience?

  • This is a culinary and cultural walking tour, so be prepared for a moderate amount of walking through urban settings. Gratuities for your tour guide are appreciated but not required. Enjoy the diverse flavors and rich history of Richmond's Arts District!

Returns, exchanges and cancellation

Unused Experience Vouchers can be returned within 30 days for a full refund to the original purchaser, no questions asked.

If you have any unused Experience Vouchers, you can exchange them for anything else in our marketplace, no matter when. If you choose an experience that's more expensive, you'll need to pay the difference, but if you choose one that costs less, you'll receive a credit towards your next booking.

No refunds are allowed once the experience is booked, but you can reschedule up to 7 days before your experience, for a date within a year of the original booking. To reschedule, contact the experience provider directly. No-shows or rescheduling less than 7 days in advance means losing the value of your experience.
